Hazy waves of heat rise from the dirt field that is crowded with the noise of children at play. Little people of all sizes are shouting and laughing, under the scorching sun to play a game of soccer in an abandoned city lot. You might notice the lack of uniforms or shoes, but the children don't. Their faces gleam with the sweat and determination of competition. Did you spot the rocks for goals at either end of the field? The kids know exactly where they lie and eagerly rush to score. Unaware of the poverty, age differences, or lack of hope looming overhead - the children enjoy an afternoon of freedom. During these few hours in the desolate lot playing with and against their friends, they gain the freedom to run, to play, to be. Without your help, this is the only freedom some of them will ever know. e3 SportReach is dedicated to these kids and their families finding freedom that will last after they walk off the field. It is our vision to join national church planters in an innovative outreach. Put us on a field with a ball in our hands and our teams go to work. Through the common language of sport, we develop relationships that allow us to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. The message is clearly presented in both word and action. New believers are then plugged into the growing local church or become the foundation for a new church plant.

WHY SPORTS MINISTRY?
Sports is very much an international language. Even in nations where there is very limited communication, most know how their local teams are doing. God uses this interest and passion for sports as a way to quickly build relationships. Also, God uses sports to breakdown barriers and each people that normally wouldn't be reached. This opens the door to sharing with them that we have more than just a passion for sports, we have a greater passion for Jesus.

SPORTS MISSIONS TO CHURCHES PLANTED
The short-term mission trips that we lead are part of a long-term in-country strategy that includes nationals trained to lead home churches before our teams arrive. Once our teams are on the ground they are the match that is struck to start the fire. Our teams work with the trained national pastors and depending on the trip strategy will put on a free neighborhood sports clinic or an amateur sports camp. As youth and adults come to know the Lord, our teams, alongside the new national church planter, take the first steps to begin the discipleship process of the new believers. After our teams leave, we know that a trained pastor will remain in that area to continue His work.

e3 SPORTREACH PUTS YOU ON THE FIELD
Sports can be used all over the world as a tool and catalyst to share the Good News and plant churches. The e3 SportReach team helps you 'get to the field' with turn-key sports missions to countries that have a sports interest. We prepare you all along the way for this adventure through training in coaching, evangelism, discipleship, and how to use the e-ball.

ORDINARY ATHLETES, EXTRAORDINARY RESULTS
Since every country has a sports ministry strategy we need trip participants with skills at all levels. In many open countries our free neighborhood clinics are a big hit with everyone from kids to street vendors. In these countries, our teams have a point coach trained and in place who is responsible for leading the sports sessions, but we need others to assist and make personal connections with the people. However, some countries require a strategy of providing high quality amateur sports camps where we need high caliber coaches and athletes.
